Brandon Lee was born in Oakland - California
1st of February 1965 at the end of the dragon year.
He was the older brother of Shannon Lee. His father died when Brandon was only 8 years old, a situation that profoundly influenced his life and artistic path. As a child, Brandon lived in Oakland, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong, eventually settling in Los Angeles after the death of his father, Bruce Lee. At 18, Brandon left Los Angeles to attend Emerson College in Boston, but soon returned to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
Brandon has acted in theater, television, and film. His most notable roles were in Rapid Fire and The Crow. On March 31, 1993, while filming The Crow, Brandon was killed on set by a blank bullet fired from a jammed pistol. His death led to changes in safety standards on film sets to this day. His fiancée at the time was Elize Hutton.
To this day, Brandon is remembered as a dynamic, charismatic, and talented man who touched the lives of many through his work and relationships. Brandon Lee died at the age of 28. He often spoke about identity, destiny, and the freedom to be oneself. Like his father, he believed in authenticity and self-discovery, but expressed it in a more melancholic way.
