Shannon Lee was born on April 19, 1969, in Santa Monica, California (USA), the younger child of Bruce Lee and Linda Lee Cadwell, a martial arts master and film star, and the sister of Brandon Lee. She grew up partly in Hong Kong and partly in the United States, including Los Angeles. She graduated from Chadwick School and then Tulane University in New Orleans, where she studied vocal performance and stage performance (B.F.A.) and participated in musicals and choral concerts. Shannon Lee is seen as a guardian of Bruce Lee's legacy, promoting not only his film achievements but also, above all, his philosophy of life, martial arts as a way of thinking, and values such as self-discipline, adaptation, and creativity.
